About The Raven Stack
Who's behind this
I'm Saikyo (well it's a pseudo ofc) — a French cybersecurity student who's spent the last few years building small businesses and automating the boring parts of running them. Somewhere along the way, testing AI tools stopped being a side hobby and became the thing I actually enjoy most.
The Raven Stack is where I write down what I find: what works, what's overhyped, and what's actually worth your money.
Why "The Raven Stack"
There's a new AI tool launching every week, and most of the "reviews" out there are written by people who spent ten minutes with the free trial before publishing an affiliate link. I wanted something different: a place where every recommendation comes from actual, hands-on use — not a press kit.
As a cybersecurity student, I also spend a lot of time thinking about how AI is reshaping the way we work, build, and stay safe online. I think the people who understand these tools early — and understand their limits — will have a real advantage. That's the audience I'm writing for.
How I test
Every review on this site follows the same basic process:
- I use the tool for real work — not a five-minute click-through — usually for at least a couple of weeks before writing anything.
- I compare it against direct alternatives, not just describe it in isolation.
- I note the trade-offs explicitly: what it's genuinely good at, where it falls short, and who shouldn't bother.
- I update posts when a tool changes significantly, a pricing tier shifts, or I find something I got wrong.
If I haven't personally tested something, I say so — and I link out to sources I trust instead of pretending otherwise.
What you'll find here
- Tool comparisons — head-to-head breakdowns based on real use, not marketing copy.
- Honest reviews — pros, cons, and an explicit answer to "is this worth it?"
- Practical guidance for growing a business — will this save you time, money, or headaches? If not, I'll say so.
- Weekly tech & AI news — the developments that actually matter, summarized without the hype.
How this site makes money
The Raven Stack runs partly on affiliate links. When you buy through a link on this site, I sometimes earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you, and often with a discount attached for you. I only link to products I've used myself and would recommend anyway; commission never decides what gets a positive review. If a tool isn't good, I'll say that too, affiliate program or not.

I read everything, and I love hearing when someone disagrees with a take — it usually means I need to test the thing again.
